Agriturismo a San Martin in Val Badia

Our little “Lüch dl Jëinder” is a heritage farmhouse. The property includes 3 ha each of fields, forest and pasture. The farmhouse belongs to the Frenner family since generations and used to be called “Schande zu Wiok”.

Agriturismo a San Martin in Val Badia

Barley used to be the main grain to be grown on the families fields. It was mainly used to produce flour and for the bread dough, which was then cooked in the wood fire oven. Nowadays, farmwork and cutting and working hay are still the priority.

The roar of the deer

Autumn is to be heard, Spring is to be breathed. When the Dolomites light up in gold, red and amber, the forest comes alive with the ancestral call of the deer's rut. A wild and unique experience, just steps away from your room. And when the snow retreats, here comes Spring: the awakening of the mountain, the flowering meadows and the pure air that regenerates body and mind. Our shoulder seasons are not off-season: they are the beating heart of the Dolomites.
